Technology and WEB 2.0 are constantly in my backpack. I also like to build & fly RC helicopters and enjoy short rides with my Suzuki Bandit bike.
Currently I’m enrolled in the 3rd year of the MSc Computing & Information Technology programme at Northumbria University (UK). I work on different offshore oil rigs as Electronics Engineer / Technician.
During recent years I have developed several web application and websites (most of them free projects),regained knowledge of Linux by using Linode’s XEN VPS service and iWEB’s smart dedicated servers. I’m currently writing on a MacBook Pro running OS X Lion and my back-up device is a standard Asus 15.6″ notebook with Win 7 64 bit Prof. , the last one is useful becaute it allowrs me to run Win XP SP3 using Oracle’s Virtual Box in order to get my Step 7 maintenance and programming done on time.
When I have the time to take photos I use a Nikon D300 camera equipped with a 18-200 Nikon lens VR2 and when necessary I plug in my SB600 Nikon flash. Backup lens Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.
